I really couldn't believe my eyes a few months ago when I read an email from Paige Evans, American Crafts Design Team Coordinator, asking me if I'd be interested in Guest Designing for the month of July! I think I replied to her email in 2.2 seconds saying, "Yes!". Here are my projects--I had the best time creating these! Thanks so much to Paige for the opportunity, kind words, and support, and I am so very excited to be a member of such a talented team!!

Hi All!! You've reached the blog of Katie Ehmann, Crate Paper Girl! So happy you are hopping along with us today for the Crate Paper/Card Maker blog hop! If you get lost, go on back to Card Maker or Crate Paper. And don't forget to enter to win a $40 prize pack of Maggie Holmes goodies from her Crate Paper collection over at the Crate blog!! The Maggie Holmes collection is one of my all time favorite collections ever, and I just might by trying to hang onto every last bit of it--especially the chipboard and the patterned papers! I used two chipboard pieces on my card, the pink butterfly and the circle frame. The yellow flowered paper with its blue polka dot alternate side are gorgeous together, so I chose those along with a couple of pieces of the washi tape that comes in a super cool, convenient sheet. Finally, the gold glitter stickers spell out my simple sentiment! Thanks so much for stopping by! Next up is the very talented AJ Otto who can be found right here!!

Hi Everyone! We are back from a long weekend in Chicago and I'm happy to share my layout for July's Creative Weekly theme over at Crate Paper! The theme this month is celebrations and I chose 4th of July. Using a cut file from the Silhouette store, I backed each of the stars with different patterned paper from The Pier, Maggie Holmes and Storyteller. I added my title and some embellishments and that was it! A fun, simple celebratory layout in honor of the 4th! Now I gotta run, because guess what was waiting on my doorstep when we arrived home from The Windy City?? A box full of three new Crate Paper collections!!! And let me tell you, you are going to love them!!

Hi Again Everyone! Awhile back I announced that I was the winner of a Guest Designing contest over at Gossamer Blue. Well, July is my month to Guest Design and can I just say that I was completely blown away by their kits this month! I really could not believe all the lovely goodness that was packed into each and every kit and add-on!! If you haven't check out Gossamer Blue, run, don't walk before this month is sold out! I created three layouts with the kits, and the first is a special Fancy Pants layout that features one of their new collections called What a Wonderful Day. It has got to be one of the happiest summertime collections ever! So fun! Next, I created a Main Kit only layout, featuring a photo of my girls decked out in face paint at the end of school year carnival. Finally, I used a mix of all the kits and add-ons to create this fun layout of my oldest daughter running through the sprinklers! Thanks so much to Lori and the Gossamer Blue Team for having me--it was an absolute honor and total blast to work with the gorgeous kits! Be on the lookout for my guest designer intro post on the Gossamer Blue blog coming soon!!
