Project Life Update: Weeks 9-12

Another four weeks in the books for 2013. I'm in a total groove with Project Life, and I'm loving my album so far. It is the perfect way to document all the little things! So here we go--weeks 9-12.

Last Little Black Dress Projects

Happy Thursday Everyone! The March kit for Little Black Dress, A Chance for Luck, is awesome and can be found here. This is my final kit with Little Black Dress, and I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out and huge thank you to Valerie O'Neall, Sarah Beth and all the wonderful ladies behind the scenes at LBD.

Paper Egg Tutorial

Hi Everyone! As promised, here are my super simple instructions for the three dimensional eggs I made for my Crate Style post!

Step 1: Cut three ovals using your Silhouette or by hand. Make sure they are exactly the same size.



Step 2: Fold all three ovals length-wise, carefully lining up the edges. The side inside the folded oval is the side that will show on your finished egg.







Step 3: Add adhesive to each oval along the edges and down the middle, then stick two ovals together as shown. Cut a six inch piece of twine and tie in a knot at one end to create a loop. Adhere the loop along the seam of the two ovals as shown.





Step 4: Carefully align and adhere the final oval to complete your egg! Easy peasy, right??

Project Life: 4 More Weeks Done!

Hey All! I'm back today with 4 more weeks of my project life album. I subscribe to Studio Calico's rad Project Life kit and I've been using lots of fun stuff from my stash including some new CHA releases from Amy Tan, Dear Lizzy and my fav, Crate Paper. This month we went on a family vacation to Florida, including a few fun-filled days in Walt Disney World, so I used an extra insert to document all the fun we had!

Write.Click.Scrapbook March Mini Madness!!

Happy Weekend! As promised, here is my layout for the March gallery for Write.Click.Scrapbook! Well, it isn't a layout...it's a mini album. In fact, this month's gallery is packed with 20 fabulous mini albums, and this month will feature many more minis. So if you are a mini album fan, or have never done a mini and would like to be super inspired, make sure you check back to WCS all this month! My mini was created entirely with Crate Paper's Fourteen collection, and features me and my hubby pre-kiddos. Well, except that first photo strip. That was from 2011 at Husband's 20th (!) high school reunion.

I've had so much fun as a part of this wonderful group of ladies on the LBD design team--I'll miss working with these awesome vintage style kits each month.
